Prober Solutions is an Independent designer and manufactures of mechanical interfacing for the positioning and docking of automated test equipment (ATE) including wafer probe stations, semiconductor test systems. Prober Solutions sells its products directly to end-users and through independent regional distributors. The Company's products are also sold to prober, tester, probe card and other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for incorporation into their products for resale as a turnkey package to the end user.
Privately held Prober Solutions has no subsidiaries. The Company maintains its headquarters in Bend Oregon.

Incorporated in 2000, James Orsillo founded Prober Solutions shared the classic Silicon Valley entrepreneurial spirit -- a desire to create and develop his own start-up.The founder identified the lack of “Standards” in regards of mechanical docking and Ring Inserts within the industry. He was knowledgeable of the “Universal Product” that was being pushed on the customer. But knew that the product out there did not provide a true Universal Solution to the end customer.

Until that time, the semiconductor industry used a product called the “Universal Hardware” which was made up of two large plates and pulleys with cables or a Fit all Insert Ring. These products as the rest of the other mechanical hardware only created more dependence.The Prober Solutions has been focused on creating a product that meets the true meaning of “Universal” solution to allow the customer to use any form of docking hardware from one probe station to and other probe station. Prober Solutions was also aware that the prober manufactures had no standard in regards to the probe center aperture or Ring Carrier.

The original company product -- the first of its type in the arena of semiconductor wafer testing -- was the Universal Tooling Plate. The Universal Tooling Plate allows for any docking hardware and Ring Insert to be mounted onto it, thus allowing the customer to standardize their test floor. The Universal Tooling Plate provided the standardization of the probe center aperture. Thus allowing the customer to use docking hardware for a TEL Probe Station to be used on a TSK Probe Station. Our Universal concept was an immediate success and is saving our customers hundreds of thousands of dollarsToday Prober Solutions is rapidity being recognized in the industry as a leader in universal solutions. Prober Solutions offers the Universal Tooling Plate to dock with over 50 leading ATE test platform.
